Monica Hampton was instrumental in ensuring the success of this year’s event, which featured a powerful and heartfelt conversation between America’s leading death doula and New York Times bestselling author, Alua Arthur, and ABC13’s Gina Gaston Elie. Their insightful, and often humorous, reflections on end-of-life care and what it means to truly live inspired everyone in attendance. With over 200 guests and more than $150,000 raised, this year’s event was a beautiful reflection of the compassion and commitment shared by everyone in our community.
