Houston Hospice Spirit Award Dinner Celebrates 24 Years
October 20, 2022 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
The 24th Annual Laura Lee Blanton Community Spirit Award Dinner will be held Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the River Oaks Country Club.
Spirit Award Dinner Honorees
This year we will honor and present the Laura Lee Blanton Community Spirit Award to Jim Reeder and Eric Nevil, recognizing the Reeder family’s decades-long dedication and commitment to Houston Hospice. Jim and Eric have been generous and loyal champions of Houston Hospice for many years and carry on a family tradition of support for Houston Hospice begun by Jim’s parents, Jim and Leone Reeder, over 35 years ago.
We also have the pleasure of recognizing Dr. Elizabeth Strauch, Houston Hospice Medical Director & Vice President of Medical Affairs, and Anne Baillio, longtime volunteer, for their wholehearted commitment to Houston Hospice with the Heart of Houston Hospice Award. Dr. Strauch joined Houston Hospice in 1992 and has dedicated 30 years of her career to ensuring Houston Hospice serves quality care to all patients and families. Since 1988, Anne Baillio has devoted her time with compassionate support for Houston Hospice patients and their families. Dr. Strauch and Anne demonstrate an unwavering commitment to Houston Hospice and its mission.
