These two sentences were handwritten in a note card by a family member of one of our many patients cared for by Houston Hospice.

A gift in memory of a loved one – family, friend or co-worker – is a wonderful way to honor an individual and help ensure that the care and comfort that Houston Hospice gives is available to everyone who so desires it. There are many ways to show support and extend condolences. Create a memorial web site where friends and family can tell stories with fond words, photos and videos. Easily notify family and friends about upcoming memorial events and alert them of new photos and stories to keep the memory alive.

For each memorial gift, Houston Hospice sends notification of the gift to the individual that you designate. Please include the name, address, phone number and e-mail of the individual(s) you would like us to notify along with your gift.

Notice of Memorial Gifts

Families may prefer to ask for memorial gifts through the obituary. The notice in the obituary might read, “In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in memory to Houston Hospice, Development Department, 1905 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030.” To ensure proper notification and dedication of these gifts, please contact the Development Department at 713-677-7119.
